On Saturday, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board announced a new scheme for the tabulation of marks for class 10 board exams which was canceled due to Covid19 pandemic situation.
As per the new policy, while 20 marks are for internal assessment for each subject, 80 marks will be calculated based on the performance of students in periodic/unit tests, half-yearly (mid-term) examinations, and the pre-board examinations.
The board said that three categories (unit test, mid-term exam, pre-board exam) are very common to most CBSE-affiliated schools.

The CBSE board has notified schools to submit the marks of students by 05 June and internal assessment marks (out of 20) by 11 June 2021. CBSE board will declare the 10th class result on 20 June 2021.
